We had enough interest to bring Anjie back for another Introduction to Mahjong class!
If you’ve been curious about Mahjong but aren’t quite sure where to start, this is your chance to learn the basics with a seasoned instructor in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Anjie will walk you through the fundamentals of the game, including the tiles, the card, basic gameplay, and how a round comes together. By the end of the class, you’ll have the foundation you need to sit down at a table, square up, and start playing with confidence.
And there’s a good reason to learn now: The Hop hosts free-play Mahjong on the first Wednesday of every month. Once you’ve taken the class, you’ll have a regular place to keep playing, practicing, and meeting other local players.
No previous Mahjong experience is needed.
